Ways to make a payment

The Income Team are responsible for managing the income of all rent and service charges. They are responsible for ensuring all charges are collected and implementing service charges. Below is information on how to make a payment. Should you have any queries check the FAQ section or contact the Income Team on T: 0845 234 0791 or E: IncomeC&L@circleanglia.org.

Ways to pay

You should pay your rent the first day of each month.  We understand that you may want to make payments on another date each month, and we will accept payments later in the month as long as you do this regularly and you do not fall behind with your payments. We must agree the payment date with you.

Direct debit

We prefer you to pay by direct debit. With your welcome letter you should have received a direct-debit form. If you did not receive one and you would like to set up a direct debit you, can phone us to set one up over the phone or ask us to send you a form.

A direct debit is a regular payment to us from your bank or building society. Paying by direct debit is the easiest way for you to make sure you pay your rent and service charge on time and you pay the correct amount. Please allow 15 working days from us receiving your form to us taking your first payment.

Online

Select the 'My Account' option on the list on the left of the screen and select ‘Leaseholder’. If it is the first time you have visited the site you will need to create your account, so make sure you have your tenancy reference number and Allpay reference number. After you have done this we will send you an email which contains a PIN number, which you can change to something more easy to remember next time you log in.

Allpay card

All residents receive an Allpay card as part of our service standards. This allows you to pay for something in an emergency, for example if another payment method has failed. You can use the card 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can pay your rent and service charge in any post office or shop with an Allpay sign.

By phone

You can phone our Income Team on 0845 234 0791 and make a payment over the phone between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. You can make a payment outside these hours by calling Allpay on 0844 557 8315 with your Allpay card.

An important reminder

It is your responsibility to pay your rent and service charge on time under the conditions of your lease.  As long as we are able to show that the charges are reasonable, we may be able to take legal proceedings against you if you do not pay.  If our case is approved by a court, we may repossess the property and end your lease.

Please contact us immediately if you are having trouble paying your rent or service charge. We cannot help you if we don’t know about your situation. Either the landlord or you can apply to the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT) to ask them to decide how reasonable the service charges are, and whether you are legally responsible (liable) for paying them.

Our advice to you

We understand that at times you may have financial problems. We can offer advice or give details of other agencies if you do not want to discuss your financial circumstances with us.
